As gardeners we are always wanting to find efficient ways to maximise both our time and efforts out in the garden. Thankfully product developers also work tirelessly to find the next great solution to our gardening problems.

One of the new products for 2012 which is sure to be a popular addition is the eco-flo range of liquid soil conditioners by Organic Crop Protectants (OCP). Whilst there is nothing new about Dolomite, Lime and Gypsum, what is new is the way that it has been packaged.

Each 500ml of eco-flo is the equivalent of 20kg of regular bagged product taking away one of the main issues with these soil additives – their weight.

The micro particles also have the effect of making them much faster than their bulky counterparts in actually effecting change on the soils. They have also cleverly included seaweed extract in the formulation to aid plants in extracting the Calcium from the treatment.

  • Corrects acid soils caused by existing soil chemistry and artificial fertilisers

  • Ratio of calcium to magnesium better reflects plant needs compared to powdered dolomite
  • Better uptake due to the presence of seaweed extract
  • Especially useful for magnesium loving plants eg roses, tomatoes, capsicums & potatoes
